At GPFM, our telemedicine service allows you to have sessions with our Providers from any remote location with just internet access. Through telemedicine, we can offer wellness consultations, medication management, follow-ups, management of chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, cholesterol issues, ADD and other mental health issues, and more.

How does telemedicine work?
Telehealth — sometimes called telemedicine — lets your healthcare provider care for you at the convenience of your home without an in-person office visit. Telehealth is done primarily online with internet access on your computer, tablet, or smartphone, and receive the same quality of care as you would receive in the office.
Using the microphone, speakers, and camera in your mobile device or computer, your “appointment” takes place with a live video chat. With our telemedicine system, your medical records and discussions with our providers are secure and confidential.
There are several options for Telehealthcare:
- Talk to your healthcare provider live over the phone or video chat.
- Send and receive messages from your health care provider using secure messaging, email, and secure file exchange.
- Use remote monitoring so your healthcare provider can check on you at home. For example, you might use a device to gather vital signs to help your health care provider stay informed on your progress.
Simply connect to a secure internet source and find a quiet, isolated space where you can be comfortable to discuss your concerns and symptoms with your provider.
